Terms of Service
Effective 21 August 2026
v0.1.0
By CyanixLabs
Beta service
These Terms govern your use of Cylink — the developer API gateway and console for the Axion/ARI orchestration system, built and operated by CyanixLabs at cylinkdev.vercel.app. Read them before you create an account or send a request through the API.
Cylink is in beta. The service is at v0.1.0. Features, models, rate limits and pricing can change or disappear on short notice, and the service is provided on an as is basis without a service level commitment except where an Enterprise agreement says otherwise.
Do not use beta Cylink as the sole dependency of anything safety-critical, and keep your own backups of data you care about.
01 Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and CyanixLabs ("CyanixLabs", "we", "us"), the maker of the Cylink API. "Cylink" means the service itself — the API, the console and everything reachable through them. By creating an account, clicking "Sign in" or "Create one", generating an API key, or sending a request to our API, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
If you accept these Terms for a company or other organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation, and "you" means that organisation.
An organisation with a signed Enterprise order form or master agreement is governed by that agreement first; these Terms fill in anything it does not cover.
02 What the service is
CyanixLabs provides Cylink as a hosted API gateway and web console. Through it you can:
- send prompts and requests to models routed through the Axion/ARI orchestration system, including the cyanix-quick, cyanix-core, cyanix-vista and cyanix-apex model families;
- test calls interactively in the Playground;
- create, inspect and revoke API keys;
- view request traces, routing decisions, latency, token counts, cost and usage analytics;
- manage your plan and billing.
We may add, change, deprecate or remove features, models, endpoints and limits. For changes that materially reduce functionality you already rely on, we will make a reasonable effort to give advance notice in the console or by email — but during beta that notice may be short.
03 Accounts and eligibility
You need an account to use Cylink. You can create one with an email address and password, with a sign-in link sent to your email, or through GitHub or Devit. Authentication is handled by our identity provider; see the Privacy Policy for what that involves.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and you must not be barred from using the service under applicable law, including U.S. export control and sanctions rules.
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your credentials accurate and current, protect them, and tell us promptly at nixai.cy@gmail.com if you believe your account or a key has been compromised.
04 API keys
API keys (prefixed cyk_) authenticate requests as you and are shown in full exactly once, at creation. After that the console displays only a preview of the key.
- Treat a key like a password. Do not embed one in client-side code, a mobile app, a public repository or anything else a third party can read.
- Requests made with your key are attributed to you, count against your quota and generate charges on your plan, whoever actually made them.
- Revoke a compromised key immediately in the console. Revocation takes effect for new requests; it does not reverse charges already incurred.
- Your plan limits how many active keys you may hold. Do not create keys or accounts to work around plan limits, rate limits or quotas.
05 Acceptable use
You may not use Cylink, or allow anyone to use it through your account, to:
- break the law, infringe someone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights, or help anyone else do either;
- generate or distribute malware, phishing content, spam, or material that sexually exploits or endangers children;
- harass, threaten, defame or discriminate against people, or generate targeted political disinformation;
- produce content designed to be mistaken for a real person or organisation — impersonation, fabricated records, or fake reviews and endorsements;
- make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people (credit, employment, housing, insurance, benefits) without meaningful human review;
- provide medical, legal or financial advice presented as professional advice, or use outputs as the sole basis for a safety-critical decision;
- probe, scan, overload or otherwise attack the service or the infrastructure behind it, or bypass rate limits, quotas, authentication or usage metering;
- reverse engineer the service, or use its outputs to train, distil or benchmark a competing model or gateway, except where that restriction is unenforceable under applicable law;
- resell, sublicense or provide the service to a third party as your own gateway, unless we have agreed to it in writing.
You are responsible for the prompts you send and for how you use what comes back, including complying with any rules that apply to your own end users and any sector-specific regulation you operate under.
06 Your content and model output
What you send
Inputs are the prompts, files, parameters and other data you submit. Outputs are what the models return. Together they are "Customer Content".
As between you and Cylink, you own your Inputs and, to the extent ownership is possible under applicable law, we assign to you our rights in the Outputs generated for you. You are responsible for having the rights to submit your Inputs in the first place.
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, transmit and process Customer Content solely to operate, secure, support and bill for the service. We do not use your Customer Content to train our models unless you separately opt in.
What comes back
Model output is generated statistically. It can be wrong, biased, out of date, or confidently fabricated, and similar prompts from different customers can produce similar or identical output. Nothing generated by Cylink is professional advice. Review output before you rely on it, publish it or act on it, and apply your own filtering and human review where the stakes warrant it.
Retention
We retain request metadata, traces and logs as described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and request deletion of associated content; some records are kept where we must for legal, billing or security reasons.
07 Plans, limits and billing
Cylink is offered on the plans below. Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude taxes. Current plan details in the console govern if they differ from this table.
| Plan | Price | Requests / month | Rate limit | API keys |
| Free | $0 | 10,000 | 20 / min | 1 |
| Pro | $29 / mo | 250,000 | 120 / min | 10 |
| Team | $99 / mo | 1,000,000 | 600 / min | Unlimited |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom | Unlimited |
Charges
- Paid plans are billed in advance, per billing cycle, and renew automatically until cancelled. Annual billing, where offered, is charged for the full term up front.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current cycle.
- You authorise us and our payment processor to charge your payment method for all fees and applicable taxes.
- If a payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend or downgrade your account until it clears.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice, effective at your next renewal. Continuing to use a paid plan after that is acceptance of the new price.
Quotas and rate limits
Requests over your plan's rate limit are rejected with a 429. When you exhaust your monthly allowance we may reject further requests, throttle you, or — where your plan provides for overage — bill for the excess at the posted rate. Usage figures shown in the console are our records and are what we bill from, absent manifest error.
Free plan
The Free plan is provided for evaluation and side projects. We may change its limits or withdraw it at any time.
08 Beta status and availability
Cylink is pre-1.0 software. During beta:
- we do not commit to any uptime, latency or support response target unless a signed Enterprise agreement says we do — the "99.9% SLA" listed on the Enterprise plan applies only under such an agreement;
- APIs, response formats, model names and console features may change in backward-incompatible ways;
- features labelled beta, preview or early access may be unstable, and we may end them at any time;
- we may need to take the service down for maintenance, sometimes without notice.
The status indicator in the console reflects our own monitoring and is informational only.
09 Third-party services
Cylink runs on and integrates with third-party providers, including our hosting and platform providers, our authentication and database provider, our payment processor, and the OAuth providers you may choose to sign in with (GitHub, Devit). Their terms and privacy practices govern their own services, and we are not responsible for them. If a provider's outage or change disrupts Cylink, we will do what we reasonably can, but we are not liable for it.
10 Intellectual property
Cylink and everything in it other than Customer Content — the console, API, documentation, orchestration system, models, design and marks — belongs to CyanixLabs and its licensors. Subject to these Terms and to paying your fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the service. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. You may not use our name or logo to imply endorsement without permission.
If you send us feedback, suggestions or bug reports, we may use them without restriction or obligation to you.
11 Confidentiality
Each of us may receive non-public information from the other. The receiving party will use it only to perform under these Terms, protect it with at least reasonable care, and not disclose it except to people and providers who need it and are bound by similar obligations, or where legally compelled — in which case it will give notice where lawful. This does not cover information that is public through no fault of the receiver, was already known to it, or is independently developed.
12 Suspension and termination
You may stop using Cylink and delete your account at any time from the console.
We may suspend or terminate your access, in whole or in part, if: you breach these Terms or the acceptable use rules; your account is used in a way that threatens the security, integrity or availability of the service or of other customers; payment is overdue; we are required to by law; or you have not used a Free plan account for an extended period. Where circumstances allow, we will give notice and a chance to fix the problem first; where they do not — active abuse, a security incident, a legal demand — we may act immediately.
On termination, your right to use the service ends and we may delete your Customer Content after a reasonable period. Export what you need first. Sections on content ownership, intellectual property, confidentiality, disclaimers, liability, indemnification and governing law survive.
13 Disclaimer of warranties
The service, including all models, outputs, analytics and documentation, is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CyanixLabs disclaims all warranties, express, implied or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, timely or error-free, or that output will be accurate, complete, current, non-infringing or suitable for your purpose.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
14 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill or business interruption, arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service, whether in contract, tort or any other theory, even if advised of the possibility.
CyanixLabs' total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you actually paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). For accounts on the Free plan, our total liability will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, such as, in some jurisdictions, liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. They allocate risk between us and are a basis of the bargain; the service would not be offered at these prices without them.
15 Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless CyanixLabs and its officers, employees and agents from third-party claims, damages, losses and reasonable legal fees arising out of your Inputs, your use of Outputs, your breach of these Terms or of law, or use of the service through your account or API keys. We will notify you of the claim, give you control of the defence (you may not settle in a way that imposes obligations on us without our consent), and cooperate reasonably at your expense.
16 Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top and, for material changes, give notice in the console or by email at least 14 days before they take effect — except where a change must take effect sooner for legal or security reasons. Continuing to use Cylink after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not, stop using the service and close your account.
17 Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
Before filing anything, please contact CyanixLabs at nixai.cy@gmail.com with a short description of the dispute; we will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days. If we cannot, the state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, and each party consents to venue there and waives any objection based on inconvenient forum.
To the extent permitted by law, each party waives any right to a jury trial and to bring claims as a class or representative action. Nothing here prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or confidential information, or you from bringing a claim in small claims court where it qualifies.
If you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction whose law gives you mandatory rights or a mandatory forum, this section does not remove them.
18 General
- Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any order form make up the whole agreement between us on this subject and replace anything earlier.
- Severability. If a provision is unenforceable, it is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest stays in force.
- No waiver. Not enforcing a provision once is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent, except to a successor in a merger or sale of substantially all assets. We may assign them to an affiliate or successor.
- Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, other than payment obligations.
- Independent parties. Nothing here creates a partnership, agency, employment or joint venture.
- Notices. We may give notice by email to your account address or in the console; notices to us go to nixai.cy@gmail.com.
- Government users. The service is "commercial computer software" as defined in FAR 12.212 and DFARS 227.7202; U.S. Government rights are limited to those in these Terms.
